About Me

After the arrival of my now 6 year old twin boys (6?!?), I had fun documenting the chaos of life with them, plus their now 8 year old big brother, on my personal Facebook page. Soppy posts are not really my thing – I assume everyone knows how much I love my boys. What I enjoy writing about are the little things that illustrate the reality of life with all these small people – the house with no available floor space, boys emptying my entire bookcase, one boy loading another into a washing machine. That is life with little ones, and a lot of mums I know relate to it. When I take a step back, it makes me laugh and I post something – if it makes others laugh then that’s even better. A few people suggested I try blogging so here I am.

I also work part-time at a local boys’ school, which gives me some much needed time doing something other than chasing small people around and also means I have even more boys in my life, just in case there weren’t enough to start with.

You will probably notice that I don’t mention my boys by name and that, now they are getting bigger, I prefer photos of the backs of their heads – this is entirely deliberate. I have chosen to write this blog but they haven’t chosen to be featured. So I prefer to keep their names private and their lovely faces hidden…..that’s just me.

If you would like me to do any writing for you, or if you’d just like to say hello, please email me here: myhouseisfullofboys@gmail.com

And please come and like my Facebook page here.

  1. Are these the same placid grandsons who last greeted me with one conducting me through a day in the life of a schoolboy explained in walking circles round the room while his brothers were immersed in a tunnel pinning me to the floor.
    Hard to believe.

  2. I can’t see a way to contact you – have just stumbled upon your blog and had a few chuckles – but I can’t seem to find it through bloglovin?
